Go to the “Candidates” icon, click on the candidate you want recommendations for. On their profile, scroll down, and on the left side, you’ll find the “Hiring Recommendations” section. Octo analyzes the CV-to-JD match and provides factual reasons for its recommendations.  

First, ensure your CVs are in PDF, DOC/DOCX, or JPG format. Then, click the “Jobs” icon, select the desired job posting, click “Upload CV,” and either drag your files or upload from your desktop. Octo will instantly analyze them. 

An “Interview by Octo” will only occur if the candidate has first been marked with the “Screen Select” status, typically based on their matching score. 

This status is automatically updated by Octo after its AI analyzes the candidate’s resume against the job description and has taken the interview.

Go to the “Jobs” icon, then click “Applicants” to open the “My Candidates” page. You’ll see candidates’ WhatsApp and email options. Click on either to open Web WhatsApp or your email client to contact them. 

Octo instantly analyzes the CV’s content using AI, stores it in its database, automatically compares it with the job description, and generates a match score to help you assess relevance 

After scheduling the interview with the candidate, octo will automatically send the needful to the candidates whatsapp as well as mail. Sit back and relax , let octo take care of everything.

 An email will automatically be sent to the candidate, asking them to provide the necessary information for the background check.

Yes, once you’ve opened the JD, you’ll see a “Download” option to save it to your device.

yes Octo will recommend a budget based on market analysis but you may accept or set your own.  

You can only change the JD before recruiters starts uploading cv’s for the specific JD, Go to Jobs , click on actions, click on dop drown arrow, you will see edit JD option, click on it and edit the part you want.

NOTE: If recruiters have already uploaded cv’s, JD cannot be edited, You can change the status of the Job to “closed” and then create a new JD.

To quickly view all the candidates with brief summary, welocity offers 3 view buttons, Go to candidates on top right side beside the sort button the three view buttons are available, click on the button to preview 

Go to candidates icon located just below the dashboard icon, on right hand side you will see two arrows one up one down labelled as “Sort” , click on the arrow to sort according to your preference, from Name(A-Z), Match% (Total score of CV to JD + the AI interview score) both high to low and low to high, Experience from highest to lowest and lowest to highest, and by Interview which will filter the candidates who have recently given the interview with our AI agent. 

To filter out the best candidates according to your preference use our sort option.

 Yes, Octo’s AI assistant can conduct video interviews. These interviews are recorded, and you can watch them back or read the full transcripts to evaluate candidates. 

“Ask Octo” offers immediate, relevant answers to your questions about candidates, their suitability for a role, or specific parts of a Job Description. It helps you quickly grasp key information without extensive manual review. 

Only a client has the access to change the status of any Job Role, a vendor cannot change the status of a job, he can only change the status of a candidate.

 If there’s a discrepancy between your uploaded CV count and your Excel sheet, it’s likely due to duplicate or inappropriate files that our system (Octo) was unable to read. Octo is designed to process only genuine CVs in the correct format. Please ensure your CVs meet the required format for successful processing. 

 If a candidate encounters an error with their interview link, or if the interview is unexpectedly shut down due to internet issues or any other reason, please reschedule the interview with the candidate. 

 If you’re experiencing issues receiving your OTP, please refresh the page and try again. We also recommend using a more secure and compatible browser like Google Chrome when accessing the platform. 

It can take some time for uploaded CVs to process and become visible on the Welocity platform. Please be patient and wait a few minutes after uploading. Do not upload your CV multiple times, as this can cause further delays and system issues.
